Mary Ann Allison, 87, of Weirton, WV, formerly of New Cumberland, WV, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Weirton Medical Center.

She was born February 2, 1933 in East Liverpool, OH a daughter of the late Glenn Oscar & Clara (Burgess) Gill.

She is also preceded in death by her husband James Leroy Allison, Jr.; two sons James Leroy Allison III and Clarence “Burr” Fink, Jr.; a brother Daniel Gill, a sister Nina Bayer, a grandson Carl Edgell, Jr.; a granddaughter Charity Bragg, great- granddaughter Randa Lang, and a son-in-law Carl Edgell, Sr.

Mary was a Short Order Cook for several local restaurants and was a member of the Family of God Christian Center in Weirton, WV.

Surviving are her children, Glenn David (Joyce) Allison of Chester, WV; Mary Lou “Bunny” (Bill) Bragg of New Manchester, WV; JoAnn Johnson (Elmer Oxley) of Wintersville, OH; Katherine (Harry) Beaver of New Waterford, OH; two sisters Gladys Alford of Salineville, OH; Rebecca Gill of Wellsville, OH; a brother Thomas Gill of East Liverpool, OH; a sister-in-law Eleanor Moore of Chester, WV; 18 Grandchildren, 29 Great-grandchildren and 7 Great-great grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews; and her precious cat Pinky.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Turley Funeral Home.

Services will be there Friday, June 5, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Craig Greathouse officiating. Interment will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery.
