Margaret was the President of the League of Women voters. She served as President of the scholarship fund the last 30 years for the Valley Point Alumni. She was President of the PTA for the state of Georgia for many years. Margaret was instrumental in the election of Jimmy Carter as Governor and later as the President of the United States.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Aaron Ball; her son, Randy Ball and her parents, Jamie Newton Rogers and Maude Keener Rogers.
She is survived by her son, James A. Ball, Jr; Ronald W. Ball (Sanober); daughter, Angela Ball; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Margaret Ball will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 1, 2020 at Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Dr. Steve Ball officiating.
