Sue Lackey, age 63, of Caledonia, MS passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 2:00pm at Antioch Baptist Church in Columbus, MS with burial to follow in the Blooming Grove Cemetery in Lamar County, AL. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00pm until service time at 2:00pm. Bro. Mitch McWilliams to officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Otts Funeral Home from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
Sue was born on April 14, 1957 in Fayette, AL to the late Virgil Hollis Taylor and the late Katherine Smith. She attended Winfield City Schools. Sue previously worked at McCoy Manufacturing, Reltoc, Hardee's, and was a children's ministry teacher at her church. She loved her church and family and enjoyed cooking. Sue was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Columbus, MS.
