Donna Ann Killian of Sherwood, born March 4, 1953, left this earthly plane on November 10, 2017, after a year-long battle with cancer. She is now reunited with her mother and stepfather, Bernice and Bill Ingram, her father, Roy Killian, and her grandmother, Caroline Turnbo Fown. A joyous family reunion is surely in progress. Donna is survived by her brother, Roger (Kathleen) Killian of Topeka, Kansas., and her sisters, Betty (Stan) Baney of Cabot, and Sarah Ingram Reynolds. She is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews and a host of great-nieces and nephews. Donna never married, but her children were her precious and adored feline furbabies, Frankie, ET, Charlie, Georgie, Tigger, and Tacker. For 27 years, she worked tirelessly as the bookkeeper for Woodhaven Homes until she fell ill. She loved her job and was well-thought of and respected in the home-building business. To her family, every visit with Donna was a festive occasion. She made everyone feel special and was incredibly generous with gifts from her heart. Always a genuine treasure, Donna loved to shower her family with gifts for no reason other than her deep and sincere love. She was a caregiver who gave to everyone and never expected anything in return but love. Donna was the life of the party. She loved to laugh and she sparkled with life. She brought joy, fun, goodness, light, and love to all our lives. She always dressed to the nines and her smile was as bright as sparkling as the jewels she loved to wear. Our days will be just a bit dimmer without her glamour and glitter and her playful spirit in our midst. Donna never feared her illness. She gave it to God and walked in faith. She said, "It's up to Him." She kept her perpetually positive attitude throughout her illness. She never stopped being her same delightful self to her loved ones and to those whose paths she crossed these past months. She lifted us all up with her sunny smile, happy outlook, and flamingo slippers. We who love and adore her are not ready to part with her but perhaps our Lord needs her for some higher purpose and we know that she is glad to be of service to Him. We rest in the knowledge that she now, once again, walks whole and healthy in His love and light. We love you, Donna. You are the best daughter, sister, aunt, and friend there ever could be. Visitation will be Monday, November 13, 2017 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will be Tuesday, November, 14, 2017 at Gravel Ridge Community Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. To share stories and memories and give condolences to Donna’s family, please go to www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
