Obituary for Ms. Minnie Cooper
Ms. Minnie Cooper passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at the age of 60 years.
Ms. Minnie Ethel Cooper was born March 15, 1955 in Lambert, Mississippi the daughter of James and Lillie Cooper. She was a member of New Morning Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Johnnie Goodman until his passing. Minnie later joined Lighthouse of Glory Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Bertha Goodman, where she served as the Mother of the Church.

Ms. Cooper was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Cooper; parents, James and Lillie Cooper; sister, Carolyn Cooper and special friend, Genell McPherson.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at New Christ Community Church, 3302 Grant Street. Dr. Eugene Seals, host pastor and Pastor Bertha Goodman will officiate, with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Tuesday from 2-8 p.m.
