Scott Anthony Devlin was born 18 June 1953 in Northwood, North Dakota, to Jack and Betty (Hillesland) Devlin. He graduated from Michigan High School in 1971. After 22 years of service, he retired from the US Postal Service in 2015. Tooter’s passions were music and reading. He loved all music and enjoyed playing his guitar whenever possible. When he wasn’t doing that, you could find him reading a new book.

Scott passed away 7 December 2019 at his home in Michigan, North Dakota. He is survived by his three brothers, three nieces, four nephews, several grand nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. There was a visitation at the Aaker Funeral Home in Lakota, North Dakota, on 13 December 2019.

Tribute: We have very fond memories of Tooter, when we lived in Bismarck. You knew that anytime you visited him, he would be strumming on his guitar. Our best memory is going to see Commander Cody with him at Sports Tavern in Bismarck. Peace!
