Michael Lee Potter, 61 of Decatur, passed away at home on May 28, 2020. He was born on November 27, 1958 in Denton to Jackie Potter and Patricia Grace (Berry) Potter. He attended Northwest Public Schools. He was a member of the First Episcopal Church of Lewisville.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Sunday, May 31, 2020 to receive friends from 2-3:00 pm in the Chapel, funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm in the DeBerry Funeral Chapel with Robert Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Thurmond-New Fairview Cemetery on FM 407 east of Justin in Wise County.

He is survived by his mother Patricia Potter of Decatur, daughters, Jill Potter of Ponder, Amy Covey of Russellville, AR, sister, Brenda Wenninger of Decatur, 5 grandchildren, Cupashia, Nathaniel, Kaleb, Kaytlyne and Kolby, niece and nephews, Lindsey, Jack and Alex, his dog Pepi.

Pallbearers will be, Larry Wenninger, Jon May, Steve Brooks, Cecil Brooks, Jeremie Roach, and Pete and Randy Potter as Honorary Pallbearers.
