Michelle was an administrative assistant for 30 years for the City of Lafayette. Michelle enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, reading, and crocheting. She lived an amazing life giving her heart to everyone. She will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving along with her parents are her husband James Brooks, two daughters, Brandy Hofinger (Kevin) of Washington, MI, and Nicole Davis (Michael) of Dayton, a step-daughter, Courtney Carter of West Lafayette, her brother, Matthew Smith (Kathaleen) of Greenwood and her sister, Elizabeth Mecklenburg (Mark) of Monticello; four grandchildren, Ravyn Brooks, Keegan Fagan, Andrew and Matthew Hofinger and three step-grandchildren, Daniel Kuczero, Tyler and Robert Davis.
Friends and family may join us in celebration of her life from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, June 8, 2018, at Soller-Baker Funeral Home at 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909. We will conclude the visitation with a closing prayer and dedication at 7:00 PM.
