Myrna T. Owen, 85, of Okolona passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born April 22, 1935, in Inverness, Nova Scotia to the late John and Catherine MacNeil.
Myrna was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church. She was also a retired Registered Nurse and worked at St. Mary & Elizabeth for thirty-six years.
Her husband Calvin Owen preceded Myrna in death.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Glen Owen(Donna), grandson, Cameron Tyler Owen, sisters, Marie Welsh and May MacNeil, brother, Jude MacNeil and a host of nieces nephews and friends.
A funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, June 1, 2020 at 10am at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop, Louisville, Kentucky 40219 with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 31, 2020 from 11:00am until 5:00pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home-Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, Kentucky 40219. We are following all CDC guidelines. We kindly ask that you please wear a mask before entering the building and are not allowing food or beverage at this time.
