STEVEN R. MCPHERSON

Steve McPherson, 59, admirably faced an 8 ½ year battle with cancer and comfortably departed this life on April 6, 2015. He was born on February 20, 1956 to Carol and Ted McPherson, both who preceded him in death. He leaves behind those who love him: his loving wife, Cyndie; sister, Deb (Keith) Ducket; nieces, Jen (Terry) Smith and Lindsey (Brad) Loving; step-children, Chris (Sarah) Armstrong and Cari (Ben) Armstrong; daughter, Sarah (Fred) Garand and his boxer buddy, Carly.

A 1974 graduate of Lake High School, Steve worked for Norfolk-Southern for 40 years. He enjoyed spending summers fishing on his boat and loved watching the Buckeyes in the fall. An avid NASCAR fan, he enjoyed cheering for Jeff Gordon, #24.

In honoring Steve's wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements were entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the National MS Society.
