Patricia L. Ray (nee Hathaway), 91, died May 23, 2020 at Kingston of Perrysburg. She was born August 23, 1928 in Cleveland.
Mrs. Ray worked as a tax preparer, a data entry worker for Sedata Payroll systems in Seville Ohio, and managed American Discount drugstore in Wadsworth Ohio. She was a great homemaker and enjoyed working on and prepping food from the family garden. She was a square dancer, loved travelling and sailing in her earlier years.
Patricia attended Rittman Grace Brethren Church, Medina Baptist Church, and most recently Grace Church of Mentor
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Prentice; son, William D. Ray; grandson, Christopher Glass; and her great granddaughter, Dahlia Glass.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Ray II; parents, Will and Sylvia Hathaway; and her siblings, Ruth, Leiliah, Vivian, Martha, Robert, Will Jr., Thomas, and Jimmy.
Graveside service will be held 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2020 at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44057.
