Joe Ann Scott, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away May 27, 2020. She was born April 4, 1927 in Indianapolis to the late Leo and Elizabeth Wildrick.

Joe Ann married Warren “Bill” Scott, October 17, 1945 and he preceded her in death December 26, 2009.

She was employed with Western Electric for over 25 years, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Joe Ann was a member of Hunter Road Bible Church. She enjoyed vacationing with her children in Florida, camping with her family at Cataract State Park, and was an avid gardener.

Joe Ann is survived by her children, William “Bill” (Cheryl) Scott, Gerald (Diana) Scott and Diane McKinney; brothers, Bud Wildrick and Don Wildrick; sisters, Nava Williams and Eleanor Thompson; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.

Joe Ann was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Dell McKinney; five brothers; and five sisters.
