John R. Glenn, 64 of Rushville, passed away on May 28, 2020 in Rushville.
He was born on November 28, 1955 in Rushville to Raymond Earl and Patricia (Hornaday) Glenn. John was a graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. He married Patty (Chambers) Glenn on November 8, 1974 and she survives. John worked 20 years for Corn Construction, 5 years at Chrysler Automobiles detailing cars, and recently delivering parts for Advance Auto. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with friends and family. He was a fan of NASCAR and Indianapolis Colts.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Patricia Glenn; daughter, Carrie Glenn of Indianapolis; brothers, Mark (Yvonne) Glenn of Rushville and Greg S. (Tawnya) Glenn of Rushville; grandson, Christopher (April) Woods. He will also be missed by 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
John is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Earl Glenn.
Services will be private at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. The public is welcome to visit the family from 11 AM – 1PM on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in Moster Mortuary. Burial will be held in Rushville East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made out to American Heart Association.
