Wanda Jean Phillips, 82, of Iowa Park, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. There will be a visitation on Monday, June 1, 2020 from 6 to 8 PM at Dutton Funeral Home. A private family service is to follow at a later date.
Wanda, Mamaw, or Aunt Jean, as she was also known, was born on January 28, 1938 in Iowa Park, TX to Clyde and Esther Hail. She grew up in Iowa Park and attended Iowa Park High School.
She and Harold Phillips were married on April 22, 1955 at the First Baptist Church of Iowa Park. They had two daughters and one son. Wanda was a terrific homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, but her favorite thing overall was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Esther Hail; two brothers, two sisters; her husband, Harold; her son, David, and a granddaughter, Melissa.
She was survived by one sister, Linda Blevins; her two daughters, Patricia & Pam Bottles; eight grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and her favorite nephew, Mike Price, even though she loved them all.
