Rubey June Kastner, daughter of the late Joel Richardson and Nellie Goodman Richardson, was born on April 22, 1931 in Gideon, Missouri, and departed this life on May 26, 2020 at Winchester Nursing Center in Bernie, Missouri, at the age of 89 years.

Mrs. Kastner was a former packer for Elder Manufacturing and she also worked in maintenance for Wal-Mart. Growing up she delivered milk from her family farm. She was a dedicated member of the First Church of God in Dexter and she enjoyed playing the piano for their church services. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved to draw and work crossword puzzles.

She was united in marriage to Emanuel E. S. Kastner on April 10, 1966 in Dexter, Missouri. Mr. Kastner preceded her in death on March 26, 1976.

She is survived by her daughter, Terre Walker and husband Richard of Bernie; and by two grandchildren, Dillon Walker and Courtney Walker.

Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded death by six brothers, Joel Richardson, Donald Richardson, Charles Richardson, Amos Richardson, Theodore Richardson, and Bob Richardson; and by her sister, Sarah Agnes Entrikin.

A private, family only, funeral service will be conducted at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, May 30, 2020. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
