George Thomas Kimball Sr. "UNC" 79, of Albany Township, Maine passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday May 12, 2020, at Stevens Memorial Hospital in Norway, Maine. He was born in West Bethel, Maine on November 9, 1940, the son of the Floyd True Kimball Sr. and Jeanette Estelle(Gibson) Kimball Clough. George attended West Bethel and Bethel schools, and was a Master Carpenter by vocation. Mr. Kimball served in the U.S. Navy and resided in Florida, North Carolina, and Texas before returning to Maine in 1985.
He is survived by Joann (Dotson) Kimball of Tennessee, daughter Darla Ann (Kimball) Brown of Tennessee, Son Thomas Kirk and wife Nancy Kimball of Humble Texas, and son George Thomas Kimball Jr (GT) of Albany Maine. Sisters: Bertha Tyler, Mildred (Mini) McAllister, Linda Rolfe, Mable Buiniskas and Brothers Stanley Clough.
Mr Kimball was blessed with 7 Grandchildren: Nakisha Lodien, Ashton Brown, Anthony Kimball, Grace Kimball, Brittany Kimball France, Chelsea Kimball, Cruz Kimball and 8 Great Grandchildren: Noah Cooper, Nathan Cooper, Aaron France, Canaan France, Anamarie Brown, Addie Brown, Madyson Mcqurie, Maleigha Mcqurie, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mr Kimball is predeceased by his Father Floyd True Kimball Sr and Mother Jeannette Estell (Gibson) Kimball Clough, his loving son Bryan Kieth Kimball of Tennessee, Brothers Floyd True Kimball Jr, Harold Clough, Kenneth Newell, Steven Clough, Sisters Katherine May Gordon, Thirza Clough Herrick, Geraldine Luxton, and his life long friend Rebecca Lyons.
UNC was full of life and loved nothing better than a good time. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
