Julie, a 20-year resident of Big Bear Lake, passed away peacefully at the Rodgers home. She fought a long battle with breast cancer, that metastasized to her bones and then finally her liver. She was the cheeriest friend to many in this Valley, having raised six kids locally. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 40 years, Dave, and six children, Gail, Mark, Christopher, Gavin, Marykate, Rebecca, and 11 grandkids. A funeral service was held to honor Julie, Saturday, June 8, 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, at 400 East North Shore Drive, Big Bear City.
