Mark Eric Burns was born in Adams County on November 28, 1979, to Maxine Burns and James Davis.
He was baptized at an early age and a faithful member of the St. John United Methodist Church in Natchez, MS. He later reunited with the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his father James Davis, grandfather Robert "Bo-Bo"Norbitt, Sr., aunt Lula Barnes, great grandmother Marguerite Dorsey, a friend Carl Jones, and his little buddy D'Ethonne Davis.
Mark leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories, a loving wife Sonya Harris Burns; a devoted and caring mother Maxine (Willie Wright) Seals; a mentor father Charles Seals; a tender-loving grandmother Ruth Burns-Norbitt; five children: Kierra Symone Burns, Jedariun Harris, Sr., Jerome Harris, Deja Davis, and Cory Howard; six sisters: LaKina Seals, Rashila (Shawn) Byrd, Rashonda (J'Ard) Seals, Cursandra Robinson, Dionne Davis, and Kimetha Baldwin; five brothers: DeMann (Tina) Seals; Willie (Kathy Ann) Seals; Clyde Bernard; Reginald Fanagan; and Chris Jones; three aunts: Gwendolyn (Edward) Proby; Nancy (Elbert, Sr.) Dixon; and Lydia Banks Reed; four uncles: Alvin (Erena) Shelby, Sr; Jerome (Dr. Elizabeth) Myles, Sr; Sidney Wayne Smith; and Carl Easton; eight grandchildren: Madson Goodin; Janiya Harris; Jedariun Harris, Jr.; Javiion Harris; Braylon Franklin; Devion Davis; Sevion Davis; and Ka'Maura Davis. A host of nieces (special niece Alanni Byrd), nephews, uncles, great uncles, aunts, great aunts, cousins and several brother-in-laws.
