Joseph Reynolds, 60 years of age, of Nancy, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, May 27th, 2020 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.

Joseph was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 20th, 1959, son of John Reynolds and the late Joyce Schunk Wright. He loved to fish, build houses, camp, do wood crafts, and spend time with family and friends.

Joseph was survived by his wife of seven years, Theresa Guffey Reynolds; his father, John Reynolds; two sons, Nick (and Taylor) Reynolds of Guilford, Indiana and Joseph F. Reynolds of Fairfield, Ohio; two daughters, Kate Reynolds of Loveland, Ohio and Brittany (and Ryan) Weidner of Harrison, Ohio; one brother, David "McBee" Reynolds of South Carolina; two sisters, Kim (and Doug) Stock of Indiana and Judy (and Marty) Thompson of Ohio; two step-sons, James (and Michelle) Adkins of Somerset, Kentucky and Jason (and Janie) Adkins of Stearns, Kentucky; two step-daughters, Martha Upchurch and JaQuilla Adkins, both of Monticello, Kentucky; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; special friends, Mark Shabert and Jason "Bingo" Stamper; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.

Joseph was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Schunk Wright; one son, Daniel Joseph Reynolds; and one brother, John L. Reynolds.

Visitations were held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31st, 2020 at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31st, 2020 in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. James Guffey officiating.

16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

NOTE: In accordance with Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear’s recommendations concerning the COVID-19 Virus there are certain limitations in attendance allowed. Visitors were ask to be aware that upon arrival to comply with certain regulations set forth by the Governor's office concerning funerals.
