Fair Lawn, NJ-Kathleen Claire Thompson, 72 , born in Westwood, New Jersey, and a resident of Fair Lawn, New Jersey passed away May 22, 2020 at Hackensack Medical Center.
Kathleen was predeceased by father and mother, George and Veronica Kociemba. Survived by beloved sisters Patricia Leonard (Kociemba) and Charlene Spahn (Kociemba), and their husbands Michael Leonard and Robert Spahn, cousin Edward Bezgembluk, nephew Mark Marino, nieces Michelle Marino, Stacey Amato (Spahn), Stephanie Schuster (Spahn), great nephews Andrew Walden, Alexander Schuster, Robert Amato, and great niece Alexandra Walden.
Kathleen worked for American Airlines, and the Banking Industry, and recently retired from Columbia Bank of New Jersey. She was a Graduate of Westwood High School and Edward Williams College where she enjoyed the Thespian arts.
Kathleen was a volunteer with the Cancer Society and also a Breast Cancer Survivor. Remembrances may be made in her name to The St. Jude Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
