He was born April 6, 1959 in Gloversville, the son of the late John and Mabel McCarthy Mullins.
There is nothing Richard liked more than an interesting conversation with old friends (or new). He could have a good laugh with anyone. It was said there wasn't a stranger Richard didn't know. He had a life long passion for music and enjoyed entertaining friends and family. Moon will be missed but never forgotten.
Moon is survived by three children, Jennifer Mullins, Ryan Mullins and Melody Ego; two brothers, Thomas Mullins and John Mullins; five grandchildren, Dakota Bailey, Zoey Bailey, Conrad Bailey, Jaylynn Cruz and Harlen Ego. Five nieces and nephews also survive.
