Mr. Bruce Ronald Bryant, Sr. 72, passed away Friday April 28, 2017 at the University of Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL; he was the son of the late Woodrow and Avie Mae Wheeler Bryant. He had lived all his life in Lake City. He is preceded in death by a daughter "Little" Avie Mae Bryant, two brothers Broward Bryant and Donald Bryant, two sisters Bonnie Dortch and Eula V. Battle. He was of the Baptist faith and was the Past Governor of the Lake City Moose Lodge in 1991-1992 he enjoyed deer hunting and riding in the deer woods.
He is survived by his son Bruce Ronald Bryant, Jr. (Sandra) Ft. White, FL; two daughters Penny Ann Bryant and Darlene S. Morgan both of Lake City, FL; two sisters Glenda Cordle and Anna Puttere both of Lake City, FL; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Bryant will be conducted Thursday May 4, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home Chapel. With Pastor Lonnie Johns officiating, Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday May 3, 2017 at Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
