Pamela Jane (O'Reilly) Cowan

March 21, 1958 – May 20, 2020

Pamela Cowan, a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, and sister graduated to Heaven on May 20, 2020 after a fierce battle with lymphoma.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr, Friendswood, Texas 77546, (281) 992-7200. There will be a visitation at 10:00 a.m., followed by an 11:00 a.m. celebration of life service. Feel free to be casual and wear her favorite colors, pink and teal.

Pam was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Baytown, Texas where she graduated from Baytown Lee High School. She married her High School sweetheart, Lewis N. Cowan, Jr. and started a family. She devoted the majority of her life to raising her children. Then she started her career at Dow Chemical in Freeport, Texas eventually becoming a Principal Buyer for Worley in Houston, Texas. However, her favorite job was that of a "Gigi", making certain her grandchildren knew of both her and God's unending love. She chose to spend every free moment listening to their stories and showering them with gifts.

She will be remembered as the loving daughter of James O'Reilly, Sr and Marilyn O'Reilly; the cherished wife of Lewis Cowan Jr.; a devoted mother to Lewis "Le" Cowan, III and Robbi Carmean; a committed Gigi to Zia, Zoe, Cailyn and Anders; a dedicated sister to James O'Reilly, Jr., Kathleen Watts, Patrick O'Reilly, Paul O'Reilly and Kevin O'Reilly; and a sincere friend to all who knew her.

Pam faithfully used her life to show the love of Jesus Christ.

The family asks that a donation be given to Samaritans Purse in lieu of flowers. For those that would still want to send an arrangement, please consider a live plant that can be placed in the family garden.

Condolences may be sent to the Cowan family in care of Jeter Memorial Funeral Home at www.jeterfuneralhome.com.
