Clyde Wayne “Big Wayne” Martin, age 57, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Cancers Treatment Centers of America in Newnan, GA. The Candler County native had lived in Reidsville most of his life. He had worked many years with the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office as a Sergeant in the jail. He later transferred to the Road Department where he was working until his death. Big Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing and mostly spending time with his family. He is a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his father and mother in law, Louie and Penny Rogers.

There will be an opportunity for friends to come by the funeral home and view Wayne on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00pm at the Reidsville City Cemetery with Reverend Doug Weisel officiating.

Honorary pallbearers with the Tattnall County Road Department Staff.
