Roy Everett Hamilton, 65 of Flatwoods went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. He was born August 27, 1954, a son of the late Herman Hamilton and the late Rosa Harper Hamilton.
Mr. Hamilton is also preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Gamble, Goldie Stapleton, Barb Hamilton; two brothers, Harry Hamilton and John Hamilton.
Roy is survived by three sisters, Marcella Hamilton, Shelly Gumbert, Ginny Newman; three brothers, Jimmy Hamilton, Herman “Slick” Hamilton, William Hamilton, many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews as well as the rest of his extended family and friends.
A funeral for Roy Hamilton will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 at 12:00pm at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland. Burial will follow at Rude Cemetery. The visitation will begin at 11:00am on Friday at the funeral home.
