Janet is preceded in death by her mother, Blanche and her husband, Jack in 2018.
She graduated from Danville High School and spent most of her life in Danville and also lived in California and Florida with her late husband. Janet retired from General Electric and later volunteered in a gift shop at the Danville Hospital. She loved her dogs, birds and flowers and also loved to laugh.
Janet was taken care of by her family and friends and later by her caregiver Jody. Her beloved dogs will be loved and cared for by her surviving family.
A private family only entombment will take place at Swan Court Mausoleum in Sunset Memorial Park. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 have been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial Donations may be placed in Janet's name to the ASPC (American Society for the Prevention of animal Cruelty).
