Graveside services for Rev. Richard Stephen Fowler will be held at 3 PM Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Nile Cemetery in Attala County with Rev. Tim Vowell officiating.
There will be no visitation. John E. Stephens Chapel in charge.
Mr. Fowler, 72, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 at his son’s home.
He was born in Paris, TX and living most of his life in Carroll County, MS.
He was a U.S. Marine, teacher, minister, street ministry, artist, carpenter, musician and singer. He was Pentecostal.
Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Abner Fowler and Marjorie Bailey Fowler; Brother, Lester Fowler Jr., Archie Carl Fowler and Phillip Hayes Fowler.
Survivors:
Wife, Vira R. Fowler of Vaiden;
Daughters, Jennifer McHan (Doug) of Ackerman, Stephenie Bruce of Vaiden and Erica Fowler of Kosciusko;
Sons, Eric Fowler (Tanya) of Philadelphia, Jason Fowler of Philadelphia and James Fowler (Codi) of Philadelphia; Sister, Phyliss Kay Ortiz of CO;
Brother, Ricky Dale Fowler of TX;
(28) Grandchildren;
