She lived in Johnston County outside of Raleigh, NC. She met Robert Wayne Woods and they wed on February 24th, 1963 at Fairview Presbyterian Church. Linda was blessed with her first child Robert Scott Woods on January 31st, 1966. She was a loving mother and loving wife for many years. On November 2nd, 1987 Linda was blessed with her first grandchild Robert Weston Woods. She loved him dearly and was just as amazing a grandmother as she had been a mother. On January 10th, 1991 Linda Pittman Woods was blessed with her second grandchild Robert Garrett Woods. The love Linda gave to the family was unparalleled and can only be described as the love of an angel.

She is also survived by her son Robert Scott Woods, her two grandchildren Robert Weston Woods and Robert Garrett Woods. Linda as well is survived by her sister Juanita Hammersley and her niece Lee-ann Sullivan.
