Mrs. Candice Lee Medas Morgan, age 38, of Hogansville, passed away on May 21, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Morgan was born on February 26, 1982 in Lake Monroe, Florida to Robert Medas, Sr. and Lori Lynn Barnes Martelli. Her mother, Lori Lynn Barnes Martelli and her brother, Adam Medas preceded her in death. She was employed by the Troup County School System and was a Teacher at Troup County High School.

Survivors include her sons, Hunter Morgan and Fischer Morgan; husband, Joshua Wayne Overkamp; brother, Robert Medas, Jr.; sister, Tabitha Medas; half-sister, Michele Phaenis; stepfather, Louis Carl Martelli; extended family and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Shadowlawn Cemetery. A family visitation will be held on Wednesday beginning at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with both events following COVID19 guidelines and mandates.
