Frances L. Goff, 89, of Springfield died on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born April 3, 1931, in Springfield, the daughter of Durward and Iva (Fury) Teater. She married Harold J. Goff August 12, 1953 and he preceded her in death in 1987.

Frances is also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Harold Goff, Jr.; one brother, Durward Teater, Jr.; two sisters, Zinna Richards and Linda Teater; and one infant brother.

Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Goff of Springfield, Debra (Chuck) Hudspeth of Springfield and Sandra (Albert) Curry of Riverton; eight grandchildren, Walter Cartwright, Mike Gillum, Chris Gillum, Tonya Fry, Chuck Hudspeth, Jr., Michelle Riley, Charles Curry, and Melissa Curry; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Frances belonged to Third Presbyterian Church. She retired from Memorial Medical Center. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private services were held. Burial at Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Staab Funeral Home, Springfield, IL.
