Marshall Shannon Johnson, age 33, passed away Friday at Saint Joseph Hospital London. Shannon leaves behind his parents Tom and Kathy Whitaker Johnson, son Mason Jerry Thomas Johnson, aunts Charlotte Whitaker, Doris Johnson, and Dorthea Mae Johnson all of East Bernstadt, and Wanda Roark and husband Carl of London; uncle Gary Michael Whitaker and wife Barb of Lexington, Kentucky; and special Papa Lloyd and Mama Betty Isaac, of East Bernstadt; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Shannon was preceded in death by his grandparents Charles G. and Geneva Whitaker, and Joe and Bertha Johnson, sister Kimberly Sue Johnson, Aunt Carolyn and Cousin Maggie Taulbee, Uncles Don, Ray, Marvin, and Gene Johnson.

Shannon was a logger and a member of Philpot Chapel Baptist Church. He loved to fish and hunt.

Marshall Shannon Johnson departed this life on Friday, May 22, 2020 being 33 years and 1 day of age.

Funeral services for Marshall Shannon Johnson will be conducted Wednesday, May 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Bowling Funeral Home with Brothers Gene Gentry and Harold Harris officiating; burial will follow in C.D. Ward in East Bernstadt, Kentucky.
