Richard Lee Hutton, 48, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away Monday, May 25, 2020.

Born October 6, 1971 in Scottsburg, IN, he was the son of the late Jim Hutton and Betty (Roberts) Hutton, who survives.

Richard was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #234 in Scottsburg and a member of Scott County Moose Lodge #2324

Survivors include his mother, Betty Hutton, Underwood, Indiana
two sisters, Emma Carey (James) and Cella Hutton all of Scottsburg, Indiana; four brothers, Jimmy Hutton of Scottsburg, Indiana, Bill Hutton (Angela) of Connersville, Indiana, Gary Hutton and Tom Roberts both of Scottsburg, Indiana.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service for immediate family only will be held at Buchanan Funeral Home on Friday, May 29, 2020 with Rev. Don Watts officiating.
Due to the need for social distancing related to COVID-19, Public Visitation, with 25 people allowed in the building at a time, will be from 4 to 8 pm Thursday and Friday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana. Face coverings are highly encouraged.
Burial will be at New Frankfort Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
