Debra Ann (Cross) Franklin, 61, of Olive Branch, passed away at 6:40 AM on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born on September 14, 1958 in Cairo, IL to Fred Eugene and Katie Lee (Estes) Cross.
She married Lynn Franklin on May 19, 1978.
Known by many as the “Burger Shack Lady,” Debbie owned and operated the former Burger Shack in Olive Branch and Tamms. Whether she just stopped to talk with you or pray with you, she always made time for others. Debbie loved the beauty of butterflies, so when you see a butterfly, think of Debbie and a wonderful memory.
She is survived by her husband, Lynn; son, C. (J.) Franklin; daughter, Kelli (Steve); 5 grandchildren; mother, Katie; brothers, Rodney and F. Cross.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Cross and step-father, Danny Weir.
Graveside services will be held at Olive Branch cemetery.
