Eloped with her 2nd cousin Richard Lee Butterfield. She instilled a love of plants in her descendants, her gardens were prolific, due to her green thumb. She was a wonderful cook whose recipes were stored in her head, was very patient with the grandkids wanting to learn to crochet. She did enjoy her snuff.
Her daughter Ruby Lucille Butterfield Allison Talbert is buried in Land Cemetery at Jarrell Ruby Lucille Talbert
Daughter Bertha Iris and son infant James Norman are both buried in AR.

BUTTERFIELD, Mrs Annie M. of Cameron. Age 82. Died Oct 21,1971 (Wednesday) in a local hospital. Services were held Friday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Burial in Salty Cemetery. Jim Yates officiated.
BORN Jan 10th 1889 at Caldwell and lived in Cameron since 1960.

Butterfield of Conroe; 6 daughters, Mrs. Oma Clawson of Lou Ann, AR., Mrs. Eva Belle Taylor of Cameron, Mrs. Opal Herrington of Cameron, Mrs. Ruth Beasley of Holland, Mrs. Ruby Talbert, Mrs. Edna Voldan, both of Houston; 4 brothers, Kirby Rolan of Kerrville, Charles Rolan of Tanglewood, Amos Rolan of Brady, James Rolan of Houston; 3 sisters, Mrs. Pearl Parker, Mrs. Rosa Beard, both of Ft.Worth, Mrs. Bert Traffenstedt of Caligosta, CA.; 39 grandchildren; 97 great-grandchildren;4 great-great-grandchildren.
