Jean Lorraine May
Jean Lorraine May, age 94, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Rev. Hubert May, her daughter Barbara Jappinen, and her son Daniel Ruedy May. She is survived by her sons Stephen and Randy (Gela) May, and daughters Debi (Elden) Kamla and Michelle (James) Pomante.

Jean was a devoted Mother totally involved with her children, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, and committed to celebrating their lives as much as her own. She was very active in her faith and involvement at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She had worked at Holy Cross Christian Preschool in the past and was actively involved with her whole Christian family at Holy Cross.

Because of the love she shared with her whole family, she will be missed each and every day.

Visitation will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, Oxford on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 2-8 PM. The funeral will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 136 S Washington St. Oxford Mi 48371 on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 11 AM with visitation beginning at the church at 10 AM. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery, Oxford.
