He was born on September 25, 2020 {should 1945}, to the late Orville Denver Riley and Donzella Mollohan Riley in Clarksburg WV.
His wife, Carol Ann Frame Riley preceded him in death on June 22, 2015
Ben was survived by his four children, Gloria Butcher and her husband, Dana, Beth Burnside and husband, Denny, Benjamin Riley and Steve Riley and his wife, Missy; four siblings, Loretta Lynch, Viola Earnest and her husband, Chuck, Denver Lee Riley and Donna Terango and her husband, Jim; along with several nieces, nephew, brother and sister-in-law and numerous cousins.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Ben was preceded in death by an infant sister, Gloria June Riley; his sister, Frances Reed and brothers-in-law, Harold Reed and Jim Lynch.
Ben was a graduate of Victory High School. He was heavy equipment operator for 30 plus years and worked with various construction companies in the area helping to build Route 50 and the Meadowbrook Mall to name a few of the projects he worked on. He was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish and he passed this tradition down to his grandchildren. Later in life, he enjoy gardening and spent time helping other. Above all, he loved his family especially his grandchildren and his great- granddaughter. He was a Christian by faith and member of the North View Methodist Church.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 4 - 8 p.m..Private services will be held for the family with Pastor Kenny Kendalll presiding. Interment will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park.
