CONCORD Audrey (Williams) Chase, 92, of Concord, died Thursday, November 24, after a brief illness. Born in Llandudno, Wales on May 25, 1913, she was the daughter of Frederick and Anna R. (Johanssen) Williams. She graduated from Howe High School in Billerica; additional education was in the field of business at Lowell Tech, Boston University, Boston College, and the School of Modern Languages.
After the death of her first husband, Lowell realtor Roger Hildreth, she began her career as a travel agent with QuinWell Travel, a Wellesley firm from which she retired as Vice-President. She was President of the Wellesley Quota Club and a member of Women in Travel. During her 40 years in business she traveled the globe many times and led tours to Mexico, Europe, the South Pacific, the Orient, Africa, and the Mideast. In 1971 she married Edward P. She was an active volunteer at Emerson Hospital. She loved dogs and was impressed by the work of the service-dog organization NEADS.
