Boyd Medlock Kent, age 94 of Judsonia, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, May 21, 2020 in Searcy. He was born October 24, 1925 at Grubbs, Arkansas to Joseph Newton Kent and Tina Medlock Kent. Boyd was a member of Highway Church of Christ and worked as a gas pump repairman for many years. Boyd is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Fonden Kent, in 1984. Fonden was the mother of his children. He is survived by; two sons, Rick Kent and wife Barbara of Searcy, Mike Kent and wife Caroline of Judsonia; one daughter, Sherri Spillman and husband David of Washington, Illinois; seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by another wife, Martha Kent of Judsonia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Tina Kent; two brothers; and three sisters.
The family plans to have a graveside memorial service on a later date at Evergreen Cemetery.
