On Friday, May 15, 2020, Louise Marcus Taylor answered the "Master's Call" to eternal rest at Oakland Manor Residential in Petersburg, Virginia. Louise was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on October 15, 1941.
She was the daughter of the late Rosa Lee and Hammie T. Marcus.
Louise was educated in the Norfolk Public School System. She retired in food service from Norfolk Public School System after 25 years. She had a heart of gold. Her love for children was shared with each of them in her own special way.
Louise was a member of Greater Metropolitan A.M.E. Church. She served on the Female Usher Board and assisted the church's Outreach Ministry with feeding the homeless.
Louise was preceded in death by her son Darryl Taylor and her grandson Ronald Lee Marcus.
Louise leaves to cherish her memory to her son Ronald E. Marcus of San Diego, Ca, Donald L. Marcus (Patricia) of Norfolk, Virginia, Sharron L. Edwards (John T.) of Richmond, Virginia, Dwight W. Taylor of Petersburg, Virginia. Two sisters Ophelia Marcus of Norfolk, Virginia, Rosa Bell Marcus of Norfolk, Virginia and one brother Willie J. Marcus (Effie) of Norfolk, Virginia; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a special long time family friend Ms. Edna Rogers.
