Donald G. Croteau, age 56, died unexpectedly at his home in Bradenton, Fla. on Friday, September 26, 2014. He was born on February 3, 1958 to the loving parents of Rosario A. Croteau and Madeliene A. Riendeau (Croteau).

He was employed at James River, was a cosmetologist and a licensed medical nursing assistant at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home. He also owned his own business known as Wardon's General Store. He retired in 2010 where he was enjoying his life in the sunshine state.

He is survived by his partner James McKibben of Brandenton, Fla., his three children Kelly Croteau of Milan, Cindy Croteau of Berlin, Germany and Kevin Croteau of Berlin, his three siblings, Diane Smith of Reno Nevada, Maurice Croteau of Berlin, and Paul Croteau of Cape Coral, Fla., his eight grandchildren, Jessica, Andrew, Julia, Devyn, Ashton, Carter, Ali and Owen. Lorraine Croteau, stepmother and stepsisters Rita Gagne, and Marie Riendeau, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He lived for his family and cherished them dearly.
He enjoyed traveling the most. Recently spending Christmas 2013 with his daughter Cindy and family in Berlin, Germany, his daughter Kelly in Berlin, in May for her college graduation and in August for both family reunions, Riendeau and Croteau.

The service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. Family and friends will gather at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Milan
