"William O. Gray, Retired Barber, Dies Saturday
SMITHVILLE, Dec. 28 - William O. Gray, 65, who retired two years ago after having operated a barber shop here for 45 years, died today at his home here after a serious illness of about one week.
Mr. Gray is survived by one son, John A Gray of Wooster; three daughters, Mrs. William Ernst, with whom he lived, and Phyllis and Doris, twins who were adopted by his brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gray, of Wooster after their mother died when they were born; three brothers Frank, Wooster, Roy, Greenwich, and Charles A. of Smithville, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. from the Buckwalter Funeral Home with Rev. D. R. McFadden officiating. Burial will be made in Smithville Cemetery. Friends may call after noon on Sunday at the Funeral Home.
