Elizabeth H. Edgar Passes

Elizabeth Hutchison Edgar passed away in Toronto General Hospital on October 11th. A former resident of Ayr and Galt, Miss Edgar was a daughter of the late Alex Edgar and Mary Gray. She made her home for the past several years at Julia Greenshields Memorial Home. Toronto, but had maintained a residence in Galt. Miss Edgar was formerly a church choir member and ardent worker of Knox's Galt Presbyterian Church. She also took a great interest in the Waterloo Historical Society. Surviving are a brother T. McKenzie Edgar of Dearborn, Michigan., several nieces and nephews. A brother William Gray Edgar of Ayr predeceased her. Funeral and committal services were conducted at Little's Funeral Home, Galt, on Wednesday. Dr. James H. Williams of Glenview Presbyterian Church, Toronto, officiated. Interment in family lot at Avr Cemetery.
