Ronald was a veteran of the US Army. In his spare time, Ronald enjoyed life and meeting people. In his early years, he attended New Point Baptist Church. Ronald was a 1973 graduate of Fairgrove High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Brooks and Rosie Scott-Brooks; his wife, Diane Locklear-Brooks; his god-parents, Roman Strickland and StrawdieScott-Strickland; two brothers, Donald Brooks and Paul Oxendine; his grandparents, Joe Scott and Gurley Hunt-Scott; and Sam Brooks and Hattie Mae Locklear-Brooks.
Ronald is survived by a daughter, Tammy Lynn Brooks-Hunt of Charlotte; one brother, Rommie Brooks of the home; as well as a host of relatives and friends.
