Mrs. Glenda Faye Dyal Browning, 61, died Thursday morning (January 3, 2005) at her residence following an extended illness.
She was a native of Charlton County, but she lived most of her life in Waycross. She was a homemaker. She was married to the late Clarence Browning and was the daughter of the late Lewis Jackson Dyal and Dossie Johns Dyal. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marion Cox. She was a member of Way of Holiness Church.
The survivors include two daughters, Earlette McDaniel and Belinda Brown both of Waycross; two sons, Daren Waters of Blackshear, and Lewis Waters of Waycross; a special friend, Scott Dukes of Waycross; four grandchildren, Lewis Catlett (wife Nikki), Shane Brown, Daren Waters, Jr., Katie Catlett; two great grandchildren, Alexis Willis, Monica Waters; three sisters, Edna Smith of Lake Butler, FL, Elma Carter (husband Raymond) of Waycross, Molly Aldridge of Brantley County; three brothers, Lewis Dyal (wife Imogene) of Waycross, Ronnie Dyal of Lake Butler, FL, Bennie Dyal (wife Rita) of Waycross; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday (January 6, 2005) at Racepond Church of God. Burial will be in Racepond Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Wednesday night from 6 until 8 o'clock.
