Mrs. Carrie Pletcher, 73 years old, of Mill Run, died at 9:15 o'clock Wednesday night at the home of a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rugg, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Pletcher was born in Somerset county on October 23, 1864, a daughter of the late Moses and Sarah Nicklow Romesburg, and she had spent practically all of her life there. Mrs. Pletcher had been making her home with her children for the past 17 years, most of that time with Mrs. Rugg. Her husband, Eli Pletcher, died 17 years ago. She is survived by the following children Mrs. James Gary of Rockwood, Mrs. Lloyd Rugg of Confluence, Mrs. Henry Rugg of Mill Run, Mrs. James Ohler of Connellsville and Edward Pletcher of Scullton. There is a brother, Miles Romesburg, of Tyronville, near Pittsburgh. There are also 22 grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Chapel Church at Scullton, Somerset county. There will be a prayer at the Rugg home at 1 o'clock. Interment will be made in Scullton Cemetery.
