Wareham-Joan M. Robbins, 84, of Wareham passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Wareham Healthcare Center.
Joan was the wife of the late Edward Allan Robbins, Jr., who passed away on October 8th, 2003. She was the daughter of the late Edwin and Mary (Hozela) Tomkiewicz.
Joan served in the U.S. Navy from August of 1955 to July of 1959. She was stationed at the U.S. Naval Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland attaining the rank of Dental Technician 3. She worked for many years as a L.P.N. at Lakeville Hospital.
She is survived by her brother Edwin Tomkiewicz of PA. She was the sister of the late Nancy Keeler. The family would like to thank all the staff at Wareham Healthcare for the exceptional care and kindness they provided to Joan over the past several years.
An outside committal service with Honors will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 11 am at the Wareham Village Funeral Home 5 Center Wareham, MA for Joan and Edward. Veterans, and our community are welcome to attend.
Baker-Polito Administration, the Administration has ordered all residents over the age of two to use a face covering or mask in public places where maintaining proper social distancing measures to prevent the spread of COVID -19 are not possible.
