Marcell Mae Martin was born January 29, 1936 in Pekin to Jacob Benjamin and Goldie Elizabeth Marcell Nelson Landrith. She married Darrel James Martin on June 14, 1952, in Pekin. He died Sept. 2, 1986, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Edwin and two sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Dianne (and Gary) Starman; two sons, Steven (and Connie)Martin and David (and Wendy) Martin; six grandchildren, including Tara (and Frankie) Cleaver, whom she helped raise; several stepgrandchildren; one great-grandson, Colin Martin, whom she helped raise and one brother, Bennie (and Phyllis) Landrith.
