Lillian Lee Spence was the daughter of William D. "Willie" Spence and his wife, Emma G. Dillion. She was married to Ernest Lumden "Pug" Corprew in 1927.

Princess Anne County, Virginia marriage records show the following -
"Married September 29, 1927 - Ernest L. Corprew, single, and Lillian Lee Spence, single - Ernest L. Corprew, age 22, born in Princess Anne County, Virginia and residing in Back Bay [Princess Anne County], Virginia, occupation Chauffeur, son of George L. Corprew and his wife, Sue - Lillian Lee Spence, age 28, born in Tyrell County, North Carolina and residing in Back Bay [Princess Anne County], Virginia, daughter of W.D. Spence and his wife, Emma G."
