Robert C. Mace, Sr., 70, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. He was born on December 15, 1948 to the late Edna R. and Franklin D. Mace in North Carolina.
Mr. Mace served in the US Army. Upon being honorably discharged he started his career as a painter. He took pride in the work he did and the love he showed his friends and family. Robert, Bob as all his friends called him, never met a stranger. He would help anyone in need without hesitation. He would say that is faith as a Christian taught him how to love, be patient and care for others.
In 1971 he started his family with his then wife Jerri Sweeny, having three wonderful children. In 1983, he met his new love, Barbara, and extended his family. With now four children, they decided for two more. His spent his days doting on his wife and children. Showing love and patients, he taught his children more than they could ever imagine.
