Jeannie was born on August 18, 1944, in Matewan, West Virginia, to the late Sherman and Cynthia (Kennedy) Marcum. She married Larry Paul Webb on October 31, 1986 in Rittman, and they were happily married for 20 years until his death on June 25, 2006.
She was a factory worker for various manufacturing companies, most recently Imperial Plastics in Rittman, for most of her adult life, retiring in 2005.
Jeannie was a member of Canaan Free Will Baptist. She was very involved with all aspects of the church, ranging from bible study to being active in the Widower's group, and always enjoyed helping to prepare funeral dinners. She was very active and involved with her kids and their lives. She was a good Christian woman, and raised her children with strong, similar values.
Surviving are two daughters, Lora Hanlon, and her children Daniel Green, Rick Hanlon II, and Adam Hanlon; Kathy Yost of Rittman, and her son Frank (Mary) Yost, Jr.; son Ben (Angela) Hatfield of Rittman, and his children Brent and Brittany Hatfield; step-son, Phillip Webb of CO; step-daughter, Amy Webb of VA; 8 great grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; and her dog Gracie, whom she loved and cared for every day.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Larry.
Friends may call from 11:00am - 12:00pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Canaan Free Will Baptist Church, 12723 Cleveland Rd., Creston.
Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday at the church with Pastor Mike Gladson officiating. Burial will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Canaan Free Will Baptist Church, 12723 Cleveland Rd., Creston, OH 44217.
